The list of Nation clubs has officially grown today, adding to the Weekday announcements we've gotten from the league! The latest club to join the League in the Northeast Conference was announced through Twitter today, adding to Atlantic City FC, and the NJ Teamsterz. This time it's a powerhouse of grassroots soccer in the East Coast.
Based in Baltimore, Maryland, this time the third club to join NISA Nation is Steel Pulse FC. The club had been in the NISA Pyramid before through the EPSL, and have hopped around a couple of leagues before. The club was founded in 2019, and joined the MMSL that season. (The MMSL is on Level 4, and is a feeder league to the EPSL). They won the Spring and Fall 2019 championship that year. After their first season there, the club was promoted to the EPSL.
Now, so far Steel Pulse have climbed the NISA Pyramid, and through the system, they have the opportunity to go pro, climbing all the way from the MMSL. It's going to be very interesting and fun to see how they could potentially get to NISA League, as the league is going to be very competitive to watch!
