The Fourth Club to Join NISA Nation

As the announcements keep coming, so do the blog posts covering them! NISA Nation announced their fourth club today on Twitter. The club will be the first announced in the Southwest region of a potential 8, as well as the Northeast region as the 2 whole regions of the league this year. This time, the club is familiar with the NISA Pyramid, and similar to Steel Pulse FC, have the experience needed from the system to go places in this league. The future is looking brighter, and brighter, with each announcement that comes through each day!

This time it's Chula Vista FC joining as the fourth club in the league. As I mentioned in the introduction, this is the first in the Southwest region to join, and it's a great start for them! The club will pioneer that certain part of NISA Nation, and we will see other clubs join that region with them.

Once again as I mentioned, CVFC have some experience throughout the Pyramid, competing in the Southwest PL last season. However, at the time the league was still SoCal Premier, as the league was still undergoing it's restructured transformation. The club have made some history in the past, becoming the first club to attain membership for the former USSF DA, making the US Open Cup, and even capturing an Adult State Championship around 2018.

The club is an older one for Nation, they were founded in 1982 by Jim Loughney under the name "Chula Vista Scorpions." Later on, they became "Chula Vista United" when they partnered with the now Barcelona Academy. Going on to their next leader of the club, now Hugo Molina, who changed the club name to "Chula Vista Pumas" in 2001. The goal of the club was changed, and it transformed into what it is today. They expanded to become one of the biggest youth soccer clubs in the South Bay of California, and eventually started overseeing 54 youth clubs across their area. To continue the long history of the club, in 2012, Oscar Zamora became President of the Club, and molded it into the CVFC we know today.
