NISA Nation, was founded last year to be a incubator league for amatuer/semi-pro clubs aspiring to go professional. The league built itself up, establishing partnerships with amatuer leagues from all over the country, adding the steps needed, and laying the foundation for the NISA Pyramid.
All that was left was the league itself, the clubs, and the setup were still to be finalized. Finally, the league made history, adding it's first ever member club, and establishing the first announced region of the league.
The league announced none other than Atlantic City FC as their first member club, commiting to the league for Fall 2021. The club was founded in December of 2017, and were announced as an expansion franchise for the NPSL, a semi-pro league in D4 of the USSF. The club played just 2 seasons in the league, as 2020 was cancelled due to COVID-19. They finished 6th and 1st in those seasons, respectively.
The club then started considering moving to the NISA Pyramid, into NISA Nation. And they were just recently announced as the first member club of the league.
It's not over yet! Over the next couple of days and weeks, NISA Nation will announce the next 15 first group of clubs for the league, and will reportedly established 2 regions of the league, which could make up 8 clubs in each. Stay tuned for more ISB News on NISA Nation, and check out the social medias of the league, and the club to find more news!
