NISA Pro Week 10 Preview

Updated: Oct 8, 2021

To continue our NISA Pro coverage, this week we're back with another Matchweek Preview! And, to see some of our predictions over on another platform, go to LowerLeagueUSA.com, or @LowerLeagueUSA on Twitter too! This week is bound to be entertaining, as is every week, as we've got some classic matches coming up. And that only makes the predictions more entertaining! So without further ado, here is our predictions for Matchweek 10.

Maryland Bobcats vs Michigan Stars

Coming up tomorrow, Maryland Bobcats plays the Michigan Stars. Maryland have had an up and down season, a lot of draws in there too. They currently sit 8th in the table, just two spots from the very bottom, so they need a win against Michigan today to get themselves out of the near bottom. Michigan on the other hand sit 3 places above the Bobcats, in 5th place. They have a good record away from home, so their chances are with them tomorrow. For me though, I'm going to go with something different. I'm predicting a Maryland win.

Chattanooga FC vs Cal United Strikers

A battle for two sides who have had some ups and downs this season. But, Cal United have found their footing in the standings and are in 3rd place, while Chattanooga sit in 7th place. This game could change up the standings, because if Chattanooga get a win, it could put them up to 5th place in the tables. To continue the trend in these predictions so far, I'm going to go with a bit of a different thing than many would say. I'm going with a draw.

Detroit City FC vs Michigan Stars

It's going to be a hard week for the Stars. Just three days after they play Maryland, they go just 26 minutes away to a very tough Detroit side. Even though Detroit have lost this season, they've picked it back up, and it's no surprise, the galactic champions find themselves at the top of the table. And Michigan are 4 places down at 5th (These table recordings are of October 5th, 2021, note that they may be different because Michigan will have played before this too). My prediction isn't surprising, Detroit win.

New Amsterdam FC vs Maryland Bobcats

Like Michigan, Maryland will find themselves playing again just after they play the first time this week. And they're going up against New Amsterdam FC. The Cannons have really seen it all this season, and through that, they are 6th in the table. Their last game they won against the Stars, and depending upon the goalkeeping situation, I'm predicting a NAFC win. (But I could be VERY wrong.)

Stumptown AC vs LA Force

The Stumpies play the Force on October 9th, and they're at home at the Matthews Sportsplex. This season when Stumptown play at home, they have just had 1 loss, with 2 wins and 2 draws. Stumptown are in 4th place in the table, while LA Force are in 2nd place. This game is probably going to be a very entertaining one! I'm predicting a LA Force win, but I think it'll be close for Stumptown.

Chicago House vs San Diego 1904

The House are back home against 1904, and it's an exact replay of last week when these sides played each other! It's interesting to note that this is a battle of the two bottom tables teams in the league, and House have slowly started to dig themselves out of the hole they're in. A win would prop them 2 places up in 7th place. Last week, Chicago House beat San Diego, and I'm going with that again. Chicago will only be more stronger at home.
