Finally, after waiting for what seems like forever, when in reality the last NISA game was about a week ago, the NISA Independent Cup is upon us. Really we were supposed to have this post scheduled for 2 days ago, however due to some unforseen events San Diego 1904 pulled out of the tournament. Now today's matchday is the Day 1 of the Cup, and we're so excited to get it out to you!

Milwaukee Torrent vs Chicago House

It's actually quite fitting that the first game of the Independent Cup this year is Chicago House's first ever game. And I think it's going to be a good start to life at the club, I'm predicting Chicago to win this. While they may only have 12 players currently, they have overall better quality players than Milwaukee does. But that's not to say the Torrent aren't going to put up a fight.

Lone Star Republic vs Texas Spurs

I'll be completely honest. I don't know much about these clubs, so I'm going to do some quick research.

Ok, my prediction is that Texas Spurs are going to take the dub in this one. Lone Star play in the Dallas Soccer Alliance, Texas Spurs play in a higher level than they do. I think Spurs will get it done.

(Next group of match reviews coming out tomorrow)
