One of the coolest things about soccer is the fandom that stretches from all over the globe. It's cool to see fans rally around a club that isn't even close to them, they may have different cultures and languages, but that doesn't stop these fans. NISA is no exception to this cool part of our game, as they have some fans from all around the globe that have all chosen a club in the league to support. I interviewed 3 people from a group of friends on the club's they support and why.

Rafael is a fan of Stumptown AC all the way from Portugal, and I reached out to him on him and his friend's support of NISA clubs, and asked him a couple questions on it. "As I mentioned, we are a group of online friends from all over. Mainly from the UK, but I'm from Portugal for example. We only heard about the league when one of us @ozahran319, who lives in Detroit went to the game the other night and mentioned it to us." Rafael has been supporting Stumptown AC since the Championship game last Saturday and hopes to one day go to a game!

Joshua is from England, and chose Stumptown AC as his NISA club to support, similar to Rafael. I interviewed him second on his fandom. "The picking of teams was the easier part so a list was put into our group chat of all the team names and me an two other guys chose Stumptown AC, I’m not sure why the other two guys chose that team but for me I liked their name and now it’s looking like I definitely made the right choice after the amazing interactions I’ve already had on Twitter with the teams account. I cannot wait to watch my first game #dontstumpbelevin"

Now we're on to the third and final person I interviewed in their support of a NISA club. @Parisi_ is from Scotland, and he chose the Maryland Bobcats as his NISA club. Here's his reasoning: "A group of friends who are all Knicks fans decided to follow the league and we all chose a team each. I am a fan of a lower league club in Scotland so liked the idea of not going for an obvious team in MLS. I chose Maryland Bobcats for a couple of reasons. I’ve been to Washington twice and loved it and a friend there was from Baltimore and told me about the place. Also my parents names are Mary and Bob so it kind of seemed right!"

I had a lot of fun interviewing these guys, and it just goes to show that the Beautiful Game is borderless. These guys are supporting a club from thousands of miles away, it's something that is really cool to see! Hopefully they all get to go to one of their clubs games one day!

Twitter handles of the friends around the world who chose a club: (Some mentioned in the text)

Thank you to these guys for allowing me to interview them! Drop them a follow!
